Ceramic Sculpture
My art is inspired by the cyclic rhythms of nature; I transform clay into rhythmic patterns of bones, animals, flowers and plants. In my sculptures I explore the connection humans have to the natural world and combine natural elements in a surrealistic assemblage, creating iconic representations that tell a story. Woven from the mysterious tale of life, death, and rebirth, each of my sculptures portray the beauty in what is invisible, unknown, and often feared.
